ABOUT METAL TREK

Metal Trek is a website dedicated to helping potential first time voyagers to Metal festivals from all over the World. I hope those of you who visit this site take advantage of the information listed here to help you get to the many Metal Festivals across this planet and back home in one piece. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at i6z6a6n@hotmail.com, and I'll try to answer your questions.

METAL TREKS BEGINNINGS

Metal Trek came to be one day when a co-worker of mines asked for detailed information how to go to Wacken Open Air. I was about to give him a link to a website called No Official Capacity, since they had a page about going to Wacken, but it was taken down, so I decided to send him an email of everything I needed to buy, and what became a lengthy email soon turned into a webpage called Wacken Trek which was dedicated to providing Metal Fans a first person perspective on how to get to Wacken and more importantly, prepare to go to Wacken. As time progressed, the realization of Wacken Trek scope was very limited and there was a need to address other festivals and that's where Wacken Trek run ended and evolved to Metal Trek.

THE UPDATES ARE AT THE SPEED OF A DOOM METAL BASS RIFF?

Wondering why updates take a while on Metal Trek? It's due to the fact this blog and Channel 13 are operated by one brave soul foolish enough to tackle on the subject of Metal while living life outside of the net and Metal. I'll try to update the blogs as often as possible, but the usual "priorities of life" take precedence and being an adult means the fun times take a back seat to life's demands when they have to, but that's why you have the archives, to keep you entertained while the next update is being worked on. Thanks for the understanding \m/
